Materials for Mesh and Burlap Wreath

• 8-10 Red Pipe Cleaners
• 1 large Orange Mesh Ribbon Roll
• Burlap ribbon (optional)
• 10 decorative hanging ornaments
• Plaid Wired Ribbon for bows or Burlap Wired Ribbon
• 12″ Metal wreath frame

Mesh Ribbon Wreath Directions:

1. Lay the metal wreath frame on a flat surface. Start wrapping the pipe cleaners around it.
2. Place the pipe cleaners at a space of 2 inches apart. Twist them cleaners around the wire starting from the frame’s center. Tighten to ensure that they do not fall off.
3. Pinch together one ribbon end and attach to the frame using one pipe cleaner.
4. Place the pinched end in between the pipe cleaners and twist around to hold it in place. A large wide mesh ribbon will work well.
5. Arrange the mesh in a manner that partially conceals the pipe cleaner. The end of the pinched ribbon should rest on the wreath frame while the rest of the ribbon pops out over the knot of the pipe cleaner, and over the other end, covering the mesh end and the pipe cleaner.
6. Take the ribbon (5-6 inches) and pinch the length. Attach the pinched portion to the next pipe cleaner’s center. Twist the pipe cleaner to hold the ribbon in place. You will see a bubble of ribbon form. Fluff the bubble until it is even.
7. Repeat the same steps as above making several mesh bubbles. Continue pinching off 5-6 inches of the ribbon. Attach each length onto the frame of the wreath. Be sure that you are using equal length of ribbon in every segment. This will ensure that your wreath does not come out looking sloppy and uneven.
8. Once you have covered the entire wreath frame, cut off any remaining ribbon. Connect the end that you have cut to the beginning of the pipe cleaner.
9. Curl the mesh ribbon end to retain its shape. This will also prevents any unsightly edges from being exposed.
10. Add the ornaments to finish the wreath.

There you have it: a simple and beautiful fall mesh ribbon wreath. All that is left is for you to show it off on your front door, fireplace or walls. Don’t let your home look dull when you can spruce it up.

Wreath Making Materials

12-inch grapevine wreath

Small, lightweight faux pumpkins (orange, white, silver, or any color of your choice)

Faux fall leaves and faux craft berries

Burlap ribbon

Hot glue gun and glue sticks

Floral picks

Floral wire

Wire cutters

A mini plaque

Wreath Making Directions:

1. Insert the picks into the pumpkin and tuck them into the wreath. Use floral wire to secure firmly. Cover at least one-fourth part of the wreath with pumpkins.
2. Take half of the bigger leaves and tuck them under the intertwining sticks of the wreath the way we hold cards while playing card games. Use a dab of glue at the base or stem area to secure the leaves firmly to the wreath. Attach these leaves at one end of the pumpkin decoration.
3. Layer half of the smaller leaves and place on the bigger ones, and secure similarly.
4. Follow steps 2 and 3, and attach the leaves at the other end of the pumpkin decoration.
5. Use the faux berries to fill in the blank spaces in between the pumpkins. Secure with glue or floral wire.
6. Give the wreath a sophisticated finish with a festive mini plaque. Insert a piece of burlap ribbon through the hanger on the back of the plaque, and tie it to the wreath.

Thanksgiving Wreath Making Directions

1. Take two to three pheasant feathers and tuck them into the left side of the grapevine wreath. Secure with floral wire.
2. Arrange floral picks such as pumpkins, gourds, fall leaves, and orange and yellow berries on top of the feathers. Arrange them the way you like and secure to the base with floral wire and hot glue.
3. Attach another two to three pheasant feathers with floral wire to the point where the floral picks arrangement ends.
4. Fill in the gaps between the floral picks with pinecones and acorns. Glue them to keep them in place.
5. Keep filling in until you get your desired look.
6. Tie the burlap ribbon to the top of the wreath. If the ribbon is not wide enough, add a double bow. You can choose the ribbon in orange or another bright color so that it catches attention.
7. Hang it on your front door. Happy Thanksgiving!

2. Apply the hot glue to the top part of one corn husk and attach it to the wreath form.
3. Repeat the process for the other corn husks. Place them on different spots on the wreath for added impact.
4. You can use corn husks of different sizes. Tuck those that stick out with hot glue.
5. Place the corn husks around the wreath form or on the front part. But ensure the visible part is completely covered.
6. Once done, look at your wreath to ensure the form is not showing.

How to Make a Felt Flower Wreath (Video)

Materials You Will Need:

Scissors

Fall colored ribbon or burlap ribbon

Wreath foam frame or straw wreath form

Glue gun

Brightly colored felt (cut into sheets)

White cotton fabric (optional)

Making a Felt Flower Wreath Video

Instructions

• Cut a long strip from the cotton fabric and use it to cover the wreath frame. Attach the ends to the frame with the glue gun.
• To make a felt flower, cut one felt sheet into 4 squares. Take one square and round off the edges.
• Starting from one corner, cut the sheet inwards in a circular manner. The cuts don’t have to be perfect as flaws add more character to the flowers.
• Start rolling the cut sheet inwards starting from the outer cut. Roll till you get to the center and attach the tiny part left with glue.
• Repeat the same process to make more flowers. You may need a significant amount of time to make the flowers.
• Once you are done, attach them to the wreath frame with glue. Glue flowers around the middle part of the frame before moving onto the other parts. Depending on the size of your wreath, you may need 5-6 rows of flowers.
• Use your ribbon to make a bow. Attach it to the wreath using hot glue.
• Hang your wreath indoors or out.
