Directions for Making a Floral Crown
You can use both fresh and faux flowers for the crowns. Use an assortment of fresh, beautiful blooms if you like your crowns to be colorful. Use faux flowers if you want the crowns to last for weeks. In fact, you can choose any kind of flowers you like depending on the color palette, size, and style you are looking for.

- Form a circular shape out of a piece of floral wire. Make sure that the size loosely fits the shape of your head. Cut off excessive wire and wrap floral tape around the entire shape for a couple of times.
- Set a layer of greenery around the form and secure with tape. It will hide the wire and act as the base of the crown.
- Now, it’s time to attach the flowers to the form. Cut the stems of the flowers at 2-3 inches long and secure them to the base with the floral tape. Wrap the tape around the stem about four to five times to make sure it stays.
Layering a few different types of flowers around the form as it will create a striking and textured look. The good thing about making a floral crown is that you can tweak and twist in numerous ways based on the type of flowers you have on hand, the hairstyle you’re planning on, and the occasion you’re making it for.
