Wreath Making Directions:

1. Cut the yellow deco mesh into 10 inch squares, so you will need about 20 to 30 10×10 inch yellow square pieces, which will become the sunflower petals. Don’t worry if you can’t cut them exactly, having slightly different sizes will give your wreath an airier feel.
2. Take one square piece and hold it from two opposite corners. Stretch it a little bit. Then, pinch it together from the other two opposite corners by making small pleats. Hold it together and without letting it go, take a second piece and pinch it together like the first one. You will end up with something that looks like an “x” made out of the two pieces of mesh. Tie these two pieces onto the outer line of your wire wreath form using the preinstalled tie by twisting it. Continue in the same way until you have covered all the outer line of the wreath form. Flatten any excess ties and arrange the deco mesh a little so it looks fluffier.
3. Continue in the same way with the second inner line of your wreath form.
4. When you are done with the yellow deco mesh, it’s time to make the center of your sunflower wreath. To do that, just take your brown deco paper mesh and tie one end of it to a center tie of your wreath form. Leave some excess paper mesh to have a fuller center and tie it to the opposite tie. Now, return the brown paper mesh and tie it next to the first tie you used (it’s kind of a weaving process to fill the center). Continue tying the brown mesh by moving from one tie to the next, always creating a fluffy puff of mesh. When you are happy with the center, cut off any excess and hide the end by tucking it into the mesh.
5. If you want, you can add a stem and some “leafs” using the lime green paper deco mesh. To do that, flip your wreath gently over and use some of the outer line ties. Cut a 30 inch long piece of lime green paper mesh. Choose a corner and start rolling it diagonally (on the long side) forming the stem. Attach it to your wreath using the outer tie. Make a couple of leafs using the same method as you used form making the petals.
6. Another thing you can do is add some larger, lime green deco mesh leafs behind the yellow petals. To make them, cut a few 15-16 inch pieces of your lime green deco mesh. Using the same technique as for the yellow petals, pinch two pieces together and attach them to the outer ties, behind the yellow petals.
7. If you’d like to use a hot glue gun to attach craft ladybug(s) to your sunflower wreath!

1. If you want to make your own butterflies, here is how to make them: Cut out the butterflies without being to accurate. Glue each of the butterflies on your plain paper using mod podge and the brush. Let them dry completely. Now cut them out as precise as you can. Paint the edges with the black marker and bend the butterfly across the middle line to get the butterfly looking like it is ready to fly.
2. To make the wreath, attach some moss to the lower quarter of your wreath, or wherever you would like place your butterflies. Use the twine to secure the moss or use the hot glue gun if necessary.
3. Arrange the butterflies on the wreath so you can decide on the exact spots you want the butterflies to be glued to.
4. Apply a small amount of hot glue to the back of a butterfly and glue it onto the moss. Repeat with as many butterflies you want. Let the glue dry completely.
5. Using the ribbon and hot glue if necessary, make a loop to hang your wreath.

1. Drill holes in the middle of the baseballs. A couple of baseballs might be squandered in the process but the sacrifice will at least yield something good! However, using recreational baseballs will make your job easier as their center is made of cork and rubber.
2. Clip off the inside ring of the wire wreath form and cut an opening using the wire cutters. Now, pass it through the hole of the baseballs one by one.
3. The wreath can be quite heavy. So, in order to keep the baseballs together you can shoot down strong glue in the holes of the ball before passing them through the wire.
4. Keep threading the balls until the entire wire is covered. Attach the last balls of both the open ends with glue. Set aside the wreath aside for 12-24 hours to let the balls set.
5. Create a nice bow with the ribbons and glue it to the upper part of the wreath.

How to Make a Patriotic Burlap Wreath Video:

Directions for a Patriotic Burlap Wreath

1. Use red burlap ribbon, blue burlap ribbon, and natural tan burlap ribbon, as it will be easier to give the wreath a patriotic touch with these colors.
2. Take the blue burlap ribbon, fold one end in thirds, and attach it to the third bar (from inside) of the frame with a piece of floral wire.
3. Your frame has nine sections distinctly separated by crossbars and each section has three openings – bottom, middle, and top. Start from the bottom opening and pull the blue ribbon through in a loop. Do the same for the other two openings.
4. After making the loop through the top opening, twist the ribbon at the bottom and make another three similar loops just next to the fist ones. Now repeat it by making a loop and pulling through the bottom, middle, and then the top opening. Keep doing this process until three successive sections are weaved with the blue ribbon. Secure the last end of the ribbon to the frame with floral wire.
5. Weave the next section of the frame with the tan burlap ribbon. After that, use red burlap for weaving the section next to it.
   Take turns with tan and red burlap ribbons until the entire frame is weaved.
   Be sure to push the loops to the side so that you can add more. It will give the wreath a fuller look. When the wreath is complete, try to fluff the loops a bit, so that the wreath looks good and full.
6. Make sure that there is no visible floral wire. Stretch or fluff the loops to cover any such visible part.
7. Glue the white stars to the blue part of the ribbon in a sporadic manner. Make a bow with the yellow ribbon and glue it too to the blue part.

1. Write numbers on the tape, cut them, and place them on the wreath’s branches.
2. After numbering the branches, separate them.
3. Gather the end of the deco mesh, place it between 2 branches on the inner ring of the wreath form and secure it with them.
4. Pull 15-20 inches of the deco mesh, make a loop, and then secure it with the next branches on the ring.
5. Repeat the process to make more loops. Attach the mesh to the inner ring and outer ring.
6. Spread out the loops to make the wreath look full.
7. Attach the burlap mesh randomly to make the wreath look fuller.
8. Pair the two types of wired ribbon and attach them to the wreath’s branches.
9. Insert the decor objects till you are happy with the way the wreath looks. Secure them to the back of the wreath.

Wreath Making Directions

1. Place old newspapers on a flat surface and put your wreath form on top. This ensures the hot glue doesn’t stick to the surface.
2. Wrap the fishing net around the wreath form.
3. Stick a few seashells to the wreath form using hot glue. Make sure they occupy only one side of the form.
4. Roll the deco mesh around the wreath form randomly. Hold it in place with the sisal rope (secure the rope with a knot).
5. Add seashells on top of the deco mesh and secure them with glue.
6. Place your boat on the undecorated part of the wreath form. Hold it in place with the sisal rope.
7. Use the burlap to make a bow and place it beneath the boat.

Wreath Material Supplies:

A grapevine wreath form

Artificial greenery

Artificial yellow and white flowers (optional)

Artificial citrus fruits (lemons, small oranges or limes)

Floral wooden picks

Hot glue gun and glue sticks

Ribbon for hanging

Wreath Making Directions:

1. Start by cutting the greenery and flower stems, leaving 4-5 inches of stem, so you can use it to stick the greenery and flowers into the wreath.
2. Pock a hole into each lemon. Be careful not to poke all the way through the other side of the lemon. You can add a drop of hot glue to the point where the pick enters the lemon, to secure.
3. Lay the wreath form on your work surface and start arranging your items loosely so you can find the arrangement you like. Make sure to not forget the ribbon for hanging. You will have to tie the ribbon around the wreath and make a loop for hanging before making anything else. When you are happy with how your wreath looks, insert the greenery into the wreath. You can use hot glue if needed. Next, insert the lemons, adding hot glue if necessary.

You can use other types of wreath forms as well, like foam wreath forms. Just make sure to fill in any gaps with some greenery so they don’t show.
Also, think about using fresh lemons, greenery and flowers instead of artificial ones. This will make your wreath having a wonderful fragrance, although its life span will be significantly shorter.
